Security Specialist
A new offer for Security Specialist from one of the biggest financial institutions in Cracow!
Key Accountabilities:
- Provide effective governance, oversight and management of risks, controls, issues, compliance and audit related activities for Data Platforms domain.
- Provide interface between Auditors (Internal and External) and Data Platforms team and ensure all audit reports and evidence are accurate and evaluated correctly.
- Guide Data Platforms colleagues on Security and vulnerability topics, while communicating and embedding good risk management within the domain.
- Regularly review of all of the Data Platforms owned security implementation standards and participate in the Standards Working Group to ensure universal conformity.
- Strategy & Communication - Input to definition of global strategy with other stakeholders (e.g. IAM). Communication of global strategy to the regional teams and to global/regional business stakeholders.
- Achieving excellence. Focusing on medium and long term goals even when under pressure or facing uncertainty. Managing expectations, results and impact of agreed outcomes, thinking ahead to identify and overcome potential issues, benefiting from a good network within IT Infrastructure to collectively identify and mitigate risk.
Requirements:
- Relevant knowledge of Databases and Business Intelligence products.
- Experience working within infrastructure environments.
- An excellent understanding of security aspects of relational databases including various categories of control, such as technical, procedural/administrative and physical.
- A comprehensive understanding of risk management and proven experience of ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory processes.
- Experience working with internal/external auditors.
- Both spoken and written communication skills with experience of adapting your style and approach to the audience and message to be delivered.
